Fortun8 Technologies is looking for motivated SAP BASIS Consultant candidates to support SAP system administration, monitoring, maintenance, and technical operations.

Freshers with a foundation in SAP BASIS and a strong willingness to learn may apply. Candidates should be interested in SAP system architecture, troubleshooting, database connectivity, user administration, and system performance. The role may involve working with senior technical teams to support SAP environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with SAP system installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance under guidance.
• Monitor SAP systems and help identify availability, performance, and operational issues.
• Support SAP user administration, role assignments, and authorization-related requests as per company procedures.
• Assist with SAP system start and stop activities and routine health checks.
• Learn SAP transport management and support transport imports across development, quality, and production environments under supervision.
• Assist with SAP client administration and client copy activities when required.
• Support troubleshooting of SAP application, connectivity, and system-related issues.
• Help monitor background jobs, system logs, work processes, and update errors.
• Assist with SAP kernel updates, support packages, and system maintenance activities under senior guidance.
• Document technical issues, resolutions, routine checks, and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with SAP functional, development, database, and infrastructure teams to resolve technical issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Basic understanding of SAP architecture and SAP BASIS concepts.
• Knowledge of operating system fundamentals, particularly Linux or Windows Server.
• Basic understanding of databases, networking, IP addresses, DNS, and connectivity concepts.
• Familiarity with SAP GUI and SAP system navigation is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of SAP system monitoring, user administration, and transport management is beneficial.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Ability to document technical work and collaborate with team members.

Experience & Eligibility

• Freshers interested in starting a career in SAP BASIS may apply.
• Candidates with SAP BASIS training, practical lab exposure, or certification may have an advantage.
• Applicants with experience in SAP system administration or technical support are also welcome.
• Basic knowledge of SAP NetWeaver or SAP S/4HANA administration is an advantage.
• Candidates should be willing to work from the Pune location as required for the role.

Preferred Technical Knowledge

• SAP system architecture and SAP application server fundamentals.
• SAP instance management, work processes, and system logs.
• SAP transport management using STMS.
• Basic knowledge of user administration and authorization concepts.
• Understanding of SAP profiles, instance parameters, and system monitoring transactions.
• Familiarity with SAP HANA database concepts and connectivity.
• Basic Linux commands, shell fundamentals, and server monitoring.
• Awareness of SAP system refreshes, backups, and recovery concepts.
